Our classic mystery box size comes with a total of 5 candles, one full size and 4 travel candles in assorted sizes.

These candles are "seconds" which means they may have cosmetic imperfections, the wicks might not be perfectly straight or may have a small piece broken off, but they still smell great and will burn fine. The candles may be missing labels or outer packaging.

Here are a few candle care tips from us to you:

The first time you burn our candles, it’s important to allow it to burn for 2-3 hours to create a full “melt pool”. This means the melted wax reaches all the way to the edge of the container.
This ensures a clean, even burn all the way down. If the first burn is too short the candle will only burn down the middle, creating a tunnel.
After every burn (before relighting your candle), simply pinch off any split portion of the wood wick gently between two fingers. It might seem like the wick is too short but don't worry, you actually need a shorter wick (1/8" appropriately) for a wooden wick to burn properly. 
If it seems like it's not getting a strong enough flame, don't be tempted to pour out melted wax, the wax is the fuel that the wick is using to burn. Instead, blow the candle out, attempt to trim the wick again and relight it. 
All our candle containers can be re-used. Just wash out the container with warm soapy water. The Botanical Collection glasses and Simple Collection glasses are dishwasher safe.

    Most orders arrive in 1-3 business days after being shipped. You will get a tracking number with your shipment confirmation email.

    Simply Curated currently ships all orders via USPS from our shipping and fulfillment studio in Grand Rapids, MI. 
    In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or broken, our carriers & shippers require photo documentation for reimbursement & quality control. Snap a photo with your phone and e-mail the image to info@simplycurated.com with your name and a brief message, and we will ship a replacement or issue a refund within a few days.
