Just so you know, on October 22nd, 2007, my (then 42 yr old) husband had a sudden cardiac arrythmia that stopped his heart while going to a printer at work. There was and still is no reason for the arrythmia, and after 3 days in a coma, and 9 days in the ICU, he was implanted with an electronic defibrillator so that if it ever happens again, he’ll be shocked back to work ;-)

It was an eye-opener, and I made a promise to myself to do ONE THING outside of myself, completely for someone else. This was the greatest opportunity that has presented itself.

Thanks again you guys, and hopefully you’ll continue to follow my sporadic ramblings :-)

Oh, if you were wondering - This young lady promised to pledge a dollar a tumblarity point that she went above 47.  She’s donating $843 to the American Cancer Society - of her own money dollars… She’s literally doing it because of how awesome she is and how great all of the internet was for “liking” and “reblogging” and all that.

I like to think I helped in some capacity, but that’s only coz I’m more selfish than Miss Laura P. :)

Jimmy-James, it was always about you and your awesomeness, and I wouldn’t have known about Drew if it weren’t for you… so yeah, fate has made you my faux son for a reason :-)
