Simply Curated

I found it interesting that out of the 8 pieces that have sold so far in the store, only one actually sold through the goodsie interface. The rest of the sales were from people that knew me and either didn’t want to pay shipping, or simply thought it would be more convenient for me to just bring the items the next time I saw them. It’s a great option, since I am such a small store the cost of shipping can get very expensive especially since many of the items are large or heavy (or both). 

So I decided to add delivery as a shipping option on Simply Curated. The option is only available for the NYC area (since that’s where I live). The charge for delivery is $2.50 just to basically cover the cost of gas or the subway fare. It’s a much more inexpensive option than shipping especially if you are buying more than one item. 

This also allows me to sell some larger items that I wouldn’t be able to ship in the store. Unfortunately those items would be available in NYC only unless you message me and are willing to pay whatever the shipping cost ends up being.
