My big activity this weekend was unpacking and putting up my books.

After some debate, Tamar and I decided to “simply” buy boards and bricks and construct our bookcase from those materials. We ended up renting a pickup truck from Zipcar, purchasing approximately 1/4 ton of bricks from Home Depot, lugging them up the stairs of our non-elevator building and assembling the above.

I’m not sure if this whole plan was the best thing we could have possibly done, but, I am very pleased with the results.

I really like this book shelf. Great idea
